Commonwealth Bank, Potts Point

Darlinghurst Road, Potts Point, Sydney

In completing the external and internal fit-out for this CBA branch, it was important that we reflected the mix of sophistication and style for which this affluent Sydney suburb is known. The uninteresting brick walls were sand-blasted internally to create an unfinished look that contrasts well with the frameless glass consult room partitioning. The project also included a new external facade incorporating auto teller machines, compliant access from the street and a new suspended concrete entry ramp. The end result is a blend of city chic and edgy innovation: a modern twist for a long-standing institution.
