A Long History

Managing Director Brad Maggs is a third-generation builder, and the Maggs family has had a respected name in the construction industry for more than 80 years. Since Brad founded BDM in 2004, the company has made its own history, being recognised with awards for both construction and as an employer.

Brad Maggs - Managing Director

Founder and Managing Director of BDM Constructions, Brad has built an award-winning business with a reputation for excellence. With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Brad has a strong work ethic with extensive leadership experience, and his direct and honest approach, combined with his focus on clear and effective communication, helps ensure clients receive professional yet down-to-earth and personal service at all times.

Austin Bell - Director

As director and business manager for BDM, Austin brings more than 30 years of experience in customer service management and construction to the firm. Austin's commercial and financial acumen, combined with his personal values of integrity and honesty, help ensure BDM's projects are delivered in a timely and budget-conscious manner. 

Brad Hinton -  Project Manager

Having come from a long-held roll as Chief Operations Officer in finance, Brad decided it was time for a change & has been working as a Project Manager for BDM since 2020. Brad is involved in many aspects of our projects including quotes & tender, project programming, client meetings, ordering of materials & the day to day running of projects that are under his management. His friendly & approachable manner ensures an outstanding rapport with clients, subcontractors & co-workers. Brad also holds a Master of Commerce in Professional Accounting at University of New England.

Administration

Nicole Pender

Nicole has been a part of the BDM team since 2015, having come from an administration and customer-focused role. Her strengths include her attention to detail, honesty, enthusiasm and getting her job done well. Nicole wears many hats here at BDM including Assistant Project Manager, Office Manager & Accounts Receivable for our Sydney branch office, making her a very valuable member of our team.

Bree Hall

Bree has been a part of the BDM team since 2016 and fills several roles in administration, accounts processing, and design. Her attention to detail, creativity and passion ensure that the design process is as seamless as possible for our clients when it comes to the selections for their homes.

Sydney Office

Pat Cronin - General Manager

As General Manager Of BDM Sydney, Pat brings organisational and leadership skills developed whilst working on numerous and diverse projects within the construction industry in Australia, Europe and Canada. Pat maintains a hands-on involvement from initial feasibility through to procurement and project delivery. A natural communicator with a strong emphasis on relationship management, his focus is on delivering excellence for our clients. 

Stuart Hopcroft - Project Manager

Stuart has been working in project delivery teams across a diverse range of projects throughout the Sydney area for the past 10 years. He has completed a Bachelor of Construction Management and Property at UNSW. He uses various skills developed from his time working with clients, consultants, staff and subcontractors to allow him to successfully deliver all projects. Stuart strongly values communication and people management skills, which allow him to build strong relationships with his clients and the people he works with.

Max Kavazovic – Site Manager

Max is an accomplished Site Manager with a wealth of experience across residential, aged care, and commercial projects. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Max adeptly oversees all facets of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Known for his strong leadership skills and ability to foster positive relationships with clients and project teams, Max consistently achieves outstanding results while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
